Antares Kutteryacht 6,5 kg 1:20 - Krick

Antares kit with glass fiber fuselage and laser-cut wooden parts as well as fittings.
In addition, accessories such as the rigging kit and sails are required for completion (sold separately - see below).

The ANTARES is a cutting-edge racing and touring yacht in the typical style of the 1920's with excellent sailing characteristics even with a stronger wind. Manfred Kaiser-Pletscher, MKP Modellbau, developed this model. The goal was to enable a model of this class with modern manufacturing methods also for the advanced beginner. The Antares is a special model for lovers of classic yachts.

The model is certainly not a mass commodity; Although a finished epoxy hull is included in the kit and all wooden parts for the deck and the superstructures are also available as laser parts and the construction is thus fast and uncomplicated. The deck is completed as a separate load-bearing assembly completely outside the fuselage and then glued as a whole into the fuselage. All materials required for construction are included. Only the fitting parts for the rigging of the mast, such as brass blocks, shroud tensioner, stainless steel cable, lines are in the extra supplied rigging kit, which is only needed later. An auxiliary drive, which is available as a further accessory set, was installed for the dullness of the model.

For the sails drawings are included in 1: 1. You can purchase as an accessory either fabric for self-sewing or a finished sail set. The detailed instructions, in which each stage is shown in pictures, as well as the detailed exemplary control of the two foresails, and a detailed construction plan make the construction of the model possible also for the non-expert. The equipment can be equipped with 2 or 3 winches. The winches can also be installed only after the model has been completed.
