Solartex Solartex und Glosstex are dense, heat-shrinkable polyester fabrics. The tear and pressure resistant qualities of both fabrics is far superior to the resistance of normal silk or sheet coverings. Ironing makes the fabrics elastic and they can easily be ironed over tightly curved surfaces. •Fuelproof, no fuelproof lacquer required •Low processing temperature, hence suitable for covering foam components •Highly flexible shrinking characteristics, no risk of warps when applied to built-up wings or open-structure tail panels •The fabric can also be painted if desired. width: 690 mm
